Daily lash cleansing is the only way to keep your eyelashes healthy. We recommend to wash your eyes every morning and evening, by using cleanser dedicated lash extensions.
How important is to wash your Eyelash Extensions daily ?
Make-up dirt, dust, sebum, sweat and dead and dry skin on eyelid must be removed every single day. If you don’t, you are constantly growing dirt on your lashes, that is located in retention spot (in the space between the eyelid/skin and the outgrown extensions), making your natural lashes weaker and weaker in this process. Till the end it causes faster loss of natural lashes from the hair follicle which can even become permanent.
Showing up for refill appointment with dirty lashes is not giving a chance to your lash stylist to take proper care about your eyelid edge hygiene and the final results of application. Cleaning does take much more time than expected, refill appointment is getting shorter so correct amount of lashes is not possible to be applied and it can even be necessary to remove the extensions, wash the eyelid edge area and create new set of lashes.
As bad as it sounds, not washing lashes can also cause a hell of infections and batteries that made themselves a new home. This can even end with immediate doctor’s visit.

How to clean your Eyelashes?
You need:
– Lash shampoo, foaming bottle and cleansing brush.
- Shake your bottle with lash shampoo and pump lash foam to your cleansing brush, or onto your eyes
- Clean your eyes and lashes with circular movement using cleansing brush
- Rinse with fresh water
- Repeat procedure twice if needed
Remember to rinse properly. If needed, repeat procedure.
Press the lashes with tissue/paper – it absorbs water super fast. Comb from above with clean brush.
