Do you wonder why your glue sometimes slides off the lashes or takes a very long time to bond or do your handmade fans instantly collapse looking like classic lashes instead of fluffy volume? Does this happen even when you clean the eyelashes the same way each time?
There is something else that hardly anyone knows…
Not all application surfaces are the same, even if they might look the same to you, meaning natural lashes from client to client are not equal. The surface polarization affects the level of the bond between the adhesive and the application surface (in our case natural lash structure) and the synthetic lashes. Let’s say you’ve prepared the natural lashes and opened its hair shaft ( Step 1 – ProShampoo) for a deeper grip of your adhesive, but you left one thing out…
Synthetic eyelashes have low surface energy, so adhesives do not stick to them easily and application on them is more difficult. This is where Step 2 in professional lash preparation comes in; BioCleaner has such a powerful impact on bonding strength and speed of your adhesive – it increases surface energy and works as an activator. Eyelashes are much more reactive and it affects the bonding strength, and the speed of the extension’s attachment (no more closing fans, sliding extensions off the natural lashes or stickies for instance!), allows you to work without stress, improves your application speed and your client’s retention.
FORGET DRY PRIMERS! BIO CLEANER IS A HYBRID PRODUCT THAT WILL HELP YOU CONTROL THE APPLICATION AT ANY TIME.
The combination of BioCleaner ingredients makes the eyelashes perfectly prepared for attachment. Its properties are made of raw ingredients, therefore, they can decrease, moisturize, activate, and disinfect natural lashes like no other products I have ever tried, at the same time, speed the drying time of your glue, accelerating the powerful bonding process, making it so much easier for you to navigate and work with every single client.
Did you know most primers are made of alcohol and other synthetic ingredients that only dry the natural lashes, ripping them off the moisture cyanoacrylate adhesive need so badly to bond? There is no such issue with BioCleaners, because of their raw, quality ingredients like natural extracts of Rosemary and Lemongrass.
HOW DOES BIOCLEANER ROSEMARY WORK?
BioCleaner with Rosemary extract adds extra moisture for ideal adhesive bonding, providing retention your clients will be happy with for weeks. Rosemary type bonds best with adhesives based on cyanoacrylate because they depend on that extra moisture both in the air (humidity) and on natural lashes as well. I did mention this is a hybrid product and what I mean was, the Rosemary type because of its high moisturizing properties, can be used to manipulate the level of moisture on the natural lashes but also on SYNTHETIC LASHES. How cool is that? You can reply to Rosemary on the strip of your lashes if you need to kick your glue’s bonding speed and power! I recommend doing so when you work below 60% humidity in your room (depending on how fast is your glue).
BIO CLEANER LEMONGRASS – The absolute game changer of all times. My favorite of BioCleaners and the only one you need if you work with polyacrylate water-based adhesives like me. Natural Lemongrass extract characterizes a high ability to remove the overproduction of oils from natural lashes surface. Client’s with oily skin and lashes will finally stop paying the price of poor retention. I have increased the retention for up to 6-7 weeks of all my clients with oily skin when I follow Step 1 Proshampoo and Step 2 BioCleaner Rosemary. It happened to be a real game changer because I’ve tested it on the most demanding clients who happened to be over 50 years old, on hormonal treatment, pre and post-operation of the thyroid. I can tell you this girl, non of the bull**it is real that hormones mess with the retention. If you have the right, purposeful product and know how to use it, all the excuses for bad retention will disappear.
WHICH BIO CLEANER TO CHOOSE FOR YOUR ADHESIVE AND FOR YOUR CLIENTS?
Before jumping off to BioCleaners, you need to ask yourself what adhesive you work with. Does your adhesive contain cyanoacrylate? If yes, both of the BioCleaners, Rosemary and Lemongrass will be needed. If you use polyacrylate water-based adhesive like me, you will only need to use BioCleaner lemongrass in the preparation of natural lashes. In the next blog post, I will explain why and how you can use BioCleaners most effectively during the application with cyanoacrylate adhesive, polyacrylate water-based adhesive, and with oily skin clients to achieve smooth and retention-solid application. In the next blog, I will also explain to you how you can combine both BioCleaners while working on one client and speed up the time of your application, without any risk of getting poor retention!
I’m happy I could introduce you to BioCleaners and their superpowers! The best thing about knowing how to use these magical products is the real boost of confidence when seeing drastically IMPROVED retention results and improved timing of your work while maintaining the highest quality of professional application performance.
Although, it is very important to understand that BioCleaner is Step 2, in the professional preparation of natural eyelashes for application. It does not remove the dirt from eyelashes! Always proceed with Pre-Prep and then Step 1 before proceeding to Step 2 preparation. Read more in other blog posts.
